ISTANBUL & CAPPADOCIA (5 Nights / 6 Days)
Istanbul has always been important on the Silk Road, in terms of bringing goods from China to the European continent. It is a city that connects two continents, Europe and Asia, and continues to be ne of the most important corridors from ancient times to the present day. Historically, Istanbul (Byzantium) was located on the Via Egnatia, one of the most important roads of the Roman Empire, connecting the eastern and western parts of the empire.Visit the Hippodrome, the stadium of ancient Byzantium, where we will see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Visit the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue ceramic tiles. We will also see Hagia Sophia from the outside.Continue to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, where we experience the rich aromas of spices such as cinnamon, cloves and thyme. We then embark on a scenic cruise along the Bosphorus, the natural waterway connecting Europe and Asia. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, visit the Basilica Cistern, the largest underground water storage system in the city dating back to Roman times.Continue to Topkapi Palace, the residence of Ottoman sultans for centuries and a symbol of imperial power.Walk through Soğukçeşme Street, known for its historic houses. Breakfast.Today, explore Istanbul’s vibrant city life, where historic neighborhoods, elegant 19th-century architecture and modern city culture come together.First, photo stop at Galata Tower, built by the Genoese in 1348, one of the most prominent landmarks on the northern shore.Continue with a photo stop at the Camondo Stairs, an elegant example of 19th-century architecture.Walk along Bankalar Street, once the financial heart of the Ottoman Empire, where the former Ottoman Bank building, today known as SALT Galata, stands.Explore Karaköy, one of the city’s trendiest districts, blending history, cafés and local life.Continue to Galataport, Istanbul’s modern waterfront destination.

In the afternoon, begin exploring the unique landscapes of Cappadocia.Visit Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in the region, offering breathtaking panoramic views.Continue to Pigeon Valley for scenic views and photo stops overlooking the valley.Enjoy panoramic views around Göreme. End the day at a beautiful sunset viewpoint.

Early in the morning, an optional hot air balloon ride offers a unique opportunity to admire Cappadocia’s landscapes from above.After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the unique landscapes of Cappadocia.
Visit the famous Göreme Open-Air Museum, home to rock-cut churches decorated with well-preserved frescoes.Continue to Paşabağ (Monks Valley), known for its iconic fairy chimneys.Proceed to Devrent Valley, where the unusual rock formations resemble animals and imaginative shapes.Continue to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest underground settlements in the region.
Visit Avanos, a town famous for its traditional pottery, where you can observe local artisans at work. Later in the day, a brief visit to a traditional carpet atelier provides insight into the region’s rich weaving heritage and craftsmanship.
